Beware of Fake Char Dham & Kedarnath Helicopter Booking Websites
Fake websites, WhatsApp accounts and advertisements may impersonate genuine travel companies or helicopter operators. Always verify before paying.
Cyber fraudsters are creating fake websites, social-media pages, WhatsApp accounts and advertisements offering Kedarnath helicopter tickets and Char Dham Yatra by helicopter at unusually low prices.
Some fake websites may even copy the name, logo, photos or booking information of genuine travel companies or helicopter operators.
Before you make any payment, follow these safety checks:
Check the website URL carefully
Make sure you are booking from the genuine website and not from a similar-looking or misspelled domain.
Verify the travel company
Check whether the operator is registered/accredited with the relevant tourism authority and whether its company name, address and contact details are consistent across its website and official listings.
Never trust a "too-good-to-be-true" price
An unusually low helicopter fare, urgent "last seat" offer or pressure to pay immediately should be treated as a warning sign.
Verify the payment details before transferring money
The account holder/company name should match the booking entity. Do not transfer money to an unrelated individual, personal account or an account name that you cannot independently verify.
Be careful with QR codes and WhatsApp payment requests
A QR code is not proof that a payment request is genuine. Before scanning or paying, independently verify the recipient's name, account details and booking with the company.
Prefer secure payment methods
Where available, use the company's official payment gateway or a credit card. If you believe you have been defrauded, contact your bank/card issuer immediately and report the incident to the cybercrime authorities.
Verify with us before paying if you have any doubt
If someone contacts you claiming to represent ChardhamTour.in, especially through WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads or another website, verify the booking and payment details with our official support team before transferring money.
Official Government Warning
The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has warned pilgrims about fake online booking websites and advertisements offering Kedarnath and Char Dham helicopter bookings. The government advises travellers to verify websites before making payments and to cross-check bookings through official government portals or trusted travel agencies.
If You Have Already Paid and Suspect Fraud

- Contact your bank or payment provider.
- Call 1930 — National Cyber Crime Helpline.
