Each and every pilgrimage of this Dham holds legends and has great spiritual value among devotees. Yamunotri

Yamunotri, the main origin of Yamuna River, which is the second most worshipped river after Ganga and is also considered as the second largest river of India. Pilgrims take a dip into the hot water springs present in the region of the temple. You can reach Yamunotri by any of the transport mode air, bus or rail. Pilgrims come here to pay their homage to Goddess Yamuna and to show their unflinching faith which lingers in the atmosphere of Yamunotri all around.

By Rail
The nearest railway station is Dehradun Railway Station which is at distance of 172km from Yamunotri. From there you can get many taxis to reach your destination.

By Air
The nearest Airport is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun situated at a distance of 210kms and from Delhi there are frequent flights to Yamunotri. From Airport you can get cabs for around 4000.

By Road
The pilgrimage is well connected by road transport. Regular buses ply to Hanuman Chatti located at a distance of 14kms from Yamunotri and to outer parts of Uttarakhand also.

Gangotri

One of the pilgrimages of Char Dham in Uttarakhand, Gangotri is located at a height of 3050metres above sea level and is located on the banks of Bhagirathi River.

By Air
Jolly Grant Airport is the nearest airport to Gangotri (226kms). From the Airport you can get a taxi or a cab which will cost you around 4000.

By Rail
Rishikesh is the nearest railway station to Gangotri, located at a distance of 250kms. After reaching at the railway station you need to hire a cab which will charge you around 3000-4000 to drop you at your destination.

By Bus
Buses in Uttarakhand are well connected with interstate bus route as well as intrastate bus routes too. You can get the both the options of private deluxe buses and state buses to ply towards your destination.

Kedarnath

To reach at this pilgrimage, pilgrims need to face the trekking hurdle due to non availability of reachable roads. It is located at an elevation of around 3584metres above the sea level. There is a trekking distance of 14kms from Gaurikund but devotees come here with their endless faith in the God and so they resolve all the barriers come in their path of doing the philosophy of the Lord Shiva.

By Train
Rishikesh is the nearest railway station located at a distance of 216kms from Kedarnath. From the railway station you can hire a cab or a taxi to reach Gaurikund.

By Air
Jolly Grant Airport is the nearest Airport located at a distance of 238km. buses and taxis can drop you at your destination.

By Road
Both interstate and intrastate buses are available to reach Gaurikund which is the nearest trekking distance from Kedarnath.

Badrinath

One of the most sacred pilgrimages in North India, Badrinath can be accessible easily by road or train. This holy place is situated in the Chamoli district. Badrinath is settled at an elevation of around 3300metres along the banks of the Alaknanda River.  The temple is dedicated to Lord Badri (Vishnu) whose shrine is closed during winter due to unfavorable weather. The idol of the temple gets shifted to Joshimath which is also known as the winter home of Lord Badri.

By Air
Jolly Grant Airport is the nearest airport situated at a distance of 311kms. You need to hire a taxi or can opt for bus to reach the nearest bus stand.

By Train
Haridwar is the nearest railway station to Badrinath (at a distance of 318kms).

By Road
Both interstate and intrastate buses ply from Badrinath and have the affordable fares which anyone can opt for.
