Sri Badri Narayana Perumal Temple: – Sri Badri Narayana Perumal is a sacred Hindu places of worship located in the heart of Badrinath in the state of Uttarakhand. It is one of the 108-Divya Desam temples, which is dedicated to Holy deity Lord Vishnu. This shrine was believed to be erected by Adi Sankaracharya and had later undergone countless renovations. It is said that this place was previously a Buddhist shrine. The Garhwal kings constructed the existing building, which stands at a height of about fifty feet. It is broadly classified into three major sections namely ‘Garbhagriha’, ‘Darshan mandap’ and ‘Sabha mandap’.
