Trekking and Skiing in Auli with Alaknanda River Rafting

Post gorging upon the delectable breakfast, lace up your shoes to cover the first trekking trail of the trip which commences from Auli and takes you to the cozy hamlet of Parsari. Once you reach the top of the peak you get to witness the charm of another Nanda Peak, the second-highest peak in India. Here you can enjoy the beauty of this Himalayan peak by treating your taste buds with hot beverages and meals. While driving back to the accommodation feel delighted with the mesmerizing charm of Hathi Ghodi, Nanda Devi, and Nanda Ghunti and also the spectacular views f snow-capped valleys. On reaching your stay, treat yourself with the scrumptious night meal and then transfer to your bed for a sound sleep.

On the third day of your trip start your day with a short road journey that starts from the higher regions of Auli from where you can board the chair lift ride. This thrilling ride takes you to the place where the trekking trail commences to Gurson and this trail offers you the mesmerizing views of scenic splendors. After gorging upon the scrumptious dinner go to your bed for a night of sound sleep.

Today there is no specific schedule and you will be spending your entire day learning the basic skills of skiing and also how to use the pieces of equipment used in skiing. Don’t be worried about learning these skills as you will be provided with this training under the assistance of experienced trainers. Later at night, serve yourself with the scrumptious night meal followed by a night of sound sleep.

Today you will be reaching Gurson which is popular for Chair lift rides and offers you the imposing views of Dunagiri Peaks and Nanda Devi. The journey of the third day starts with a short road journey to the higher regions of Auli from where you can board the chair lift ride that takes you to the place from where the trekking trail commences to Gurson. Cover this enthralling trekking distance where you get mesmerized with the alluring and the appealing beauty of the scenic splendors and then return to the accommodation to treat your taste buds with hot beverages and also the fritters.

The first half of the 6th day of the trip is scheduled to practice the skills you have been learning from last 2 days and then after treating your taste buds with lunch start driving towards Jayalgarh. On reaching the destination you will be escorted to the campsite freshen up and then enjoy the cozy and appealing campfire arranged on the banks of the river. Gorge upon the relishing night meal which is then followed by a night of sound sleep.

This is the final day of your trip which you will start with a relishing breakfast. Post breakfast you will be provided with the orientation session of rafting and you will be told some of the techniques of rafting. Now you are all set to raft in the pious Alaknanda River and this rafting session concludes at Devprayag, the confluence point of River Alaknanda with River Bhagirathi. Once you are done with rafting treat your taste buds with the scrumptious afternoon meal and then drive towards Haridwar. This is the time to say goodbye to our team as after this you will cover your onward journey on your own.
