Tour Itinerary

A smiling tour guide welcomes you at Delhi and escorts you to the waiting coach for your onward journey to Haridwar. Haridwar is one of the holiest cities, the place where Ganga officially enters the plains, a place where devout Hindus bathe in the holy waters to wash away sins. Arrive in Haridwar after a beautiful ride over scenic countryside and check into your comfortable hotel room to rest and refresh yourself. An hour or so later we set out to visit the famous spots of Haridwar. We start with the Chandi Devi Temple and then go on to Daksha Mahadev Temple, Mansa Devi temple, Bhuma Niketan, Vaishno Devi temple, Pawan Dham, Bharat Mata Mandir and the Doodhadhari Temples. The religious fervour of devotees is to be seen to be believed. Later, as the sun starts to set the group sets out for the Ganges to view the fabulous evening Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Later, you are free to explore Haridwar on your own.

Board the coach after breakfast for the splendid drive to Mussoorie via Dehradun. Dehradun is a lovely resort also famous for its institutions. The brief tour of Dehradun over, the coach proceeds through winding roads to the Queen of Hill Stations, Mussoorie. Located at a height of 2000 metres, Mussoorie is enchanting with its marvelous view of the green covered slopes with scenic waterfalls cascading down merrily. Mussoorie has wealth of flora and fauna in addition to one of the best views of the Doon Valley and the Shivalik mountains in the distance. Check into your hotel and then set out for a visit to the Municipal gardens, the LBS National Academy of Administration and lastly the most beautiful picnic spot: Kempty Falls. As if in a dream you stare at the lovely scenery unfolding before you before it is time to return for the night.

Enjoy a hearty breakfast and set out on a trip to nearby Dhanaulti, about 24 km away, that presents quite another view with its green slopes shrouded in mist. It is quiet, peaceful and relaxing in this sojourn in the clouds as you will find. The view of the Swargarohini and Bandarpunch ranges is just too fabulous for words. The Mata Surkanda Devi Temple visit over you are free to walk along pathways among the Rhododendron, Deodar and Oaks and make the most of your day here before returning to Mussoorie in the evening for the night’s stay.

Breakfast on local dishes and board the coach for the drive to Rishikesh, another holy city better known as the city of Ashrams, a place made famous by the Beatles. Arrive in Rishikesh after a brief halt at Dehradun and check into your hotel. Then we go visiting Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Sivananda Ashram, Parmarth Niketan and Gita Bhavan. As the sun sets the group moves towards the Ganges for the glorious evening Arti. Return to your hotel, dine and set out for a stroll in the quiet lanes of this holy retreat.

Breakfast is a treat after which we return to Haridwar where the tour ends and the guide assists with onward journey to Delhi.
