Tour Itinerary

On day one of the Narmada Pushkaralu tour you will arrive at Amarkantak via road appreciating the breathtaking natural vistas and splendid sceneries. During the scenic drive, you will pass through many spiritual sites and natural attractions that will enhance the joy of your trip. Nestled amidst the splendid Satpura and Vindhya mountain ranges, Amarkantak holds immense cultural, religious, and natural significance. It is believed to be the three major river systems meeting point and source of holy rivers. The Narmada, Johila and Sone rivers originate from Amarkantak, making it one of the most revered pilgrimage destinations in India. Amarkantak attracts nature lovers, pilgrims, and thrill-seekers alike. After reaching Amarkantak you will check in at your designated hotel and savor a delectable dinner. Post dinner you will have an overnight stay at your hotel.

Post a delicious breakfast you'll head out the explore the popular attractions of Amarkantak and you'll head to the Narmada Kund to seek the blessings of Goddess Narmada. Situated in Amarkantak's center, Narmada Kund is believed to be one of the most divine spiritual attractions in the city. It is surrounded by many ancient temples and has a very soothing ambiance. You can engage in various rituals such as recitation of mantras, charity, and meditation. After absorbing the tranquil ambiance of Narmada Kund you'll visit the other popular attractions of Amarkantak such as the Narmada Udgam Temple that has been built to mark the origin of the River Narmada. You will also visit the Shri Sarvodaya Digambar Jain Temple, the ancient Kalachuri temples, and the Kapildhara Temple and appreciate their magnificent architecture. As the day comes to an end you'll head back to your hotel and have an overnight stay.

Enjoy a mouth-watering breakfast in the morning and then you'll check out from your hotel and head to Narmada Kund to engage in various rituals. You'll indulge in Narmada Parikrama wherein you will collect Narmadaji's water in a vial and walk from any place of the river proceeding along the right side of the river completing a complete circle of it. You'll also take a dip in its sacred waters to abolish your sins. In the afternoon you'll leave Amarkantak and head back to your hometown via your desired transportation mode. With this, your Narmada Pushkaralu comes to an end but the memories of the trip will remain etched in your heart forever.
