Tour Itinerary

Kedarnath journey will begin from Delhi. Our tour representative will greet you at your point of arrival and then assist you on to the bus. Delhi to Haridwar is a maximum 6 hours of journey which will be covered by road. On reaching Haridwar you will immediately be checked in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

There will be plenty of time remaining in the day. Attending the Ganga Aarti in Har Ki Pauri, Haridwar can be done during sunset. If there is time during the afternoon and you feel like exploring, then a trip to the hill top temple of Mansa Devi can also be done.

It is advised to start off the journey to Kedarnath early in the morning since it will be a long journey to Sitapur. This road trip will take 10 to 12 hours and on the way you can even stop and take pictures of Devprayag and Rudraprayag. Although long, this road journey will be one of the most scenic one and you will not even feel tired upon arriving at Sitapur. On reaching you will be checked in to your hotel here and the remainder of the day will be for you to relax and spend in leisure after a long road trip.

Early in the morning the final leg of the journey to Kedarnath will begin. You will be dropped off at Sonprayag which is the commencement point of this 18 kms long, winding, steep and challenging road to the lord’s abode.

To save some hassle you should book a pony ride up to the temple. This will make the journey easier and less challenging so that you have a proper darshan of the lord without much exertion.

Another option to make it easier is booking a helicopter package for Kedarnath, which will drop you off just 500 meters away from the temple, minus all the difficult route climbing. A good option for people travelling with senior citizens or kids.

Remember to carry warm, cozy, good quality woolens and other essentials.

After offering your prayer in the temple and completing your darshan, you will be taken back the same route on the pony, Doli or helicopter service to Sonprayag.

From here on, by evening you will be dropped off at your hotel in Sitapur for some much-needed rest after a soulful and exciting day.

Your journey back to Rishikesh will begin early in the morning after breakfast. This will be another scenic journey of 10 to 12 hours. If you happen to reach Rishikesh on time and there is still some time left for sightseeing besides the Ganga Aarti then you can check you Gita Bhawan, Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Neelkanth Mandir, etc.

You will then be made to head to Haridwar, which is just a couple of minutes away from Rishikesh, where on reaching you will be checked in to your allotted hotel here for an overnight stay.

This will be the final day of your Kedarnath yatra by car. On reaching Delhi after a 6-hour road journey, you will then be dropped off at your place of departure in Delhi. You will be dropped off after a smooth and comfortable trip with memories of a lifetime.

There are no strict regulations for clothing to visit the Temple as such. Being a place of worship, you should dress up decently and comfortably. you can wear anything you wish. Summer Months May and June, it is sunny and the weather remains quite pleasant, you can wear light clothes. However due to high altitude the climate is unpredictable and changes abruptly from sunny weather to heavy rain which suddenly makes the weather cold and freezing. make sure to carry waterproof raincoat and pants along with good quality of woollen socks, gloves and warm cap.

You will get pure Vegetarian Meals during yatra (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner).

Accommodation will be provided depending on your package. We make sure that every passenger stays in comfort. however, the idea of comfort on these remote parts of the Himalayas is very different and basic. You should not expect a high end 5-star property because most of these hotels on high altitude regions remain closed off for 6 months and opens up only when the yatra begins. the hotels that we will offer will be the best in this situation.

There is no fixed age limit for Char Dham Yatris. As the yatra will pass through high altitudes, therefore preferred age bracket is between 7-75. Ladies who are more than 6 weeks pregnant shall not allowed to undertake this yatra.

There will not be a guide because there is no need for it. all the necessary assistance will be given by us and the base managers present at the helipad. this includes guiding you through the briefing process and timely transfers to your next destination.
