Day 01: Dehradun/Delhi- Haridwar
Today our representative will pick you up from either Delhi Airport or Dehradun Airport. From there, we will escort you to Haridwar, where you'll complete the check-in formalities at your hotel. Haridwar is known to be the "gateway to the almighty Lord," and holds lots of importance for Hindus. It is located on the Ganges River bank and is believed to be blessed by Vishnu. Har Ki Pauri is one of the most revered ghats in Haridwar established by King Vikarma and Saint Bharathi, adding to its spiritual allure. After a short nap at your hotel, you’ll get ready to visit Har Ki Pauri to attend the Ganga Aarti. You can also visit the Mansa Devi Temple if you have time. In the evening you will return to your hotel and enjoy a lip-smacking dinner. Have an overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 02: Haridwar – Barkot (6 – 7 hrs/210 kms)
On the second day, you will enjoy a mouth-watering breakfast at the hotel and then you will head to Barkot, a picturesque town situated at a distance of around 210 kilometers from Haridwar. The journey will take you through Mussoorie’s picturesque hill station, where you'll soak in the breathtaking views of the valleys and surrounding mountains. On the way to Barkot, you'll visit the famous Kempty Falls, a splendid waterfall known for its cascading waters and natural beauty. Take some time to rejuvenate and relax amidst the refreshing and lush green atmosphere of the falls. After arriving at Barkot you will check into your pre-booked hotel and unwind. Savor a tasty dinner at your hotel and then have a soothing sleep in your room.
Day 03: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (6 kms trek/42 kms drive)
Today you’ll embark on an excursion to Yamunotri from Barkot. After having a mouth-watering breakfast at your Barkot hotel, you will head to Janki Chatti which is the trek’s starting point. After reaching Janki Chatti, you’ll undertake the challenging trek towards Yamunotri covering around 5.5 kilometers. The path is filled with scenic vistas of the Himalayan landscape making the trekking journey a memorable experience. Along the way, you will pass through beautiful hamlets like Phoolchatti, immersing yourself in the serenity of the surroundings.
Once you reach Yamunotri offer your prayers to Maa Yamuna and seek her blessings. The spiritual aura of Yamunotri Temple will leave an indelible impression on your heart, reaffirming your devotion and faith. After the divine darshan, you will retrace your steps back to Barkot and have an overnight stay at your pre-booked hotel. Don’t forget to indulge in a lip-smacking dinner before retiring to sleep.
Day 04: Barkot – Uttarkashi (4 hours Drive)
On the fourth day, you will head for a picturesque drive to the town of Uttarkashi from Barkot. Uttarkashi is situated amidst the snow-capped Himalayas. Enjoy a tasty breakfast at your Barkot hotel and then say goodbye to the serene surroundings. You’ll head for a four-hour journey to Uttarkashi appreciating the lush greenery, snow-capped peaks, and cascading streams adorning the horizon. After arriving in Uttarkashi, you will check in to your hotel and enjoy the warm hospitality. The town exudes a serene charm, with its spiritual vibes and tranquil ambiance. Once you settle into your accommodation, you will explore the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, a famous shrine that is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Steeped in history and mythology, the temple will captivate you with its sacred atmosphere and architectural grandeur. You will immerse yourself in the temple’s divine ambiance, seeking blessings for the journey ahead. In the evening you will head back to your hotel and have a tasty dinner. After that, you’ll retire to your room for a soothing sleep.
Day 05: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (3-4 hours/100 Kms Drive One Way)
Today you will prepare yourself for an exciting journey to the town of Gangotri from Uttarkashi, tracing the divine River Ganga’s path. Enjoy a luscious breakfast in the morning and then head out for a 100-kilometer drive, transversing through breathtaking landscapes adorned with snow-clad peaks and verdant valleys. On the way to Gangotri, you will stop by Harsil, a tranquil hamlet known for its panoramic vistas and serene ambiance. Here, you will immerse yourself in the surrounding’s natural beauty.
Once you have reached Gangotri, you will absorb the sacred atmosphere that envelopes the town and catch the sight of the Bhagirathi River which is known to be the holy River Ganga’s origin point. You will take a holy dip in the sacred waters, rejuvenating your spirits and purifying your souls. You will then head to the Gangotri Temple built in honor of Goddess Ganga. Offer prayers, perform rituals, and seek the blessings of the Goddess for your spiritual journey. After the blissful visit to the temple, you’ll head back to Uttarkashi. As you retrace your path through the breathtaking landscapes, you will be full of gratitude for the profound experiences.
Day 06: Uttarkashi – Sitapur (9 to 10 hours/230 km)
Today you will prepare yourself for a picturesque drive Sitapur from Uttarkashi, spanning around 230 kilometers in a duration of around 9 to 10 hours. You will set out for the journey at around 8 AM after relishing a mouth-watering breakfast. You will transverse the scenic routes via Lambgoan and Moolgarh.
On the way, you’ll see the Mandakini River, whose waters emanate from the Kedarnath region. Following the river’s course, you will arrive at Guptakashi which is known for its spiritual significance. Here, you’ll visit the Ardh Narishwar Temple which is situated amidst the breathtaking backdrop of the Himalayas and is dedicated to Lord Shiva in his Ardhnarishwar form. The sacred ambiance and ancient architecture of the temple will leave a lasting impression on your heart, deepening your connection with God. After absorbing Guptakashi’s divine ambiance, you will resume your journey and reach Sitapur, where you will check into your hotel and have a relaxing sleep.
Day 07: Sitapur – Kedarnath
On the seventh day, you will have two different options to reach the revered Kedarnath shrine, one of Lord Shiva’s 12 jyotirlingas. The first option involves a departure early in the morning after breakfast, where you’ll be dropped off at the designated helipad at Sersi, Guptkashi, or Phata, as per the reporting time that the Helicopter Company has provided to you. From there, you’ll board a helicopter for Shri Kedarnath Ji. Once you have reached the helipad at Kedarnath Ji, you’ll perform Pooja and have the divine darshan of Lord Kedarnath. After that, you will have an overnight stay at Kedarnath Ji. You can also return and have an overnight stay at Sitapur.
Alternatively, you can also choose the second option wherein you will check out early in the morning from your hotel and embark on a scenic drive to Sonprayag. From there, you will catch a government jeep that will drop you at GauriKund, where the Shri Kedarnath Ji’s trek will commence. The trek spans around 19 kilometers and can be completed in 8 hours. Once you have reached Kedarnath Ji, you will perform Pooja and seek darshan, followed by a stay at Kedarnath Ji or a return journey to Sitapur. Savor a luscious dinner at your hotel and settle in for the night.
Day 08: Kedarnath – Sitapur / Govindghat
Today you can choose from any of the three options for your further journey. The first option entails an early morning helipad visit so that you can catch a helicopter to Sitapur. From there, you’ll head to Govindghat covering around 170 kilometers journey in around 7 hours. On the way, you will visit Ukhimath, known as Kedarnath Ji’s winter abode. Once you have reached Govindghat, you will check in to your pre-booked hotel and have an overnight stay.
Alternatively, you can choose the second option if you have returned on the previous day from Kedarnath and stay at Sitapur. After a mouth-watering breakfast, you will check out from your hotel and head to Govindghat via Ukhimath. You will follow exactly the same route that you followed in the first option.
You can also choose the third option wherein you’ll be provided an option to embark on a scenic trek early in the morning. You’ll start the trekking journey from Kedarnath and reach Gaurikund. From Gaurikund, you will drive to Sitapur and have an overnight stay at your hotel, following a different route than the other two options.
Day 09: Govindghat – Badrinath
Today you can choose from any of the two options for your journey. If you choose the first option you will savor a lip-smacking breakfast and then you will check out from your hotel and head for a 30-kilometer journey for darshan to Badrinath. Along the way, you will take a holy dip in the Tapt Kund and see the Badrivishal. After that, you will attend the evening Aarti. Badrinath holds lots of prominence for Hindu devotees, especially for those who perform their ancestors' Pinddan Shraddh at Brahamakapal. Additionally, you can visit the famous sightseeing spots nearby, such as Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Mana Village, the Saraswati River's "Mukh," Charanpaduka, and Bhimkund. These attractions are situated at a distance of around three kilometers from Badrinathjee. Retire for the night in your room at Badrinath after having a delectable dinner.
The second option is suitable for those who have trekked and finally reached Sitapur. Enjoy a hearty breakfast and then check out from your Sitapur hotel and embark on a journey spanning 8-9 hours to Badrinath, covering approximately 180 kilometers distance. En route, you will visit Ukhimath, Kedarnath Ji’s winter abode. Once you have reached Badrinath, you will partake in the same sightseeing activities and rituals as mentioned in the first option. Both options offer a memorable spiritual experience amidst the Himalayas' breathtaking landscapes.
Day 10: Badrinath – Rudraprayag / Srinagar (6 – 7 hrs/160 km )
After breakfast and darshan in the morning, you will check out from your Badrinath hotel and head on a drive to Srinagar/ Rudraprayag via Joshimath. Joshimath is a hill town perched at around 6150 m in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district. In the eighth century, it was built by Adi Guru Sankaracharya. It is Lord Badri ‘s winter home where lord Badri’s idol gets shifted from Badrinath. Visit Narsing Temple on the way to Joshimath. Later you will head for Srinagar/ Rudraprayag. Rudraprayag is situated at the confluence of river river Mandakini and Alaknanda and is a revered site among Hindus. This place is the gateway to Kedarnath and Badrinath. On the way to Rudraprayag, you will visit Karna Prayag and Nand Prayag. On arrival, you will check in to your pre-booked hotel for a delectable dinner and overnight stay.
Day 11: Rudraprayag/Srinagar – Haridwar (6 – 7 hrs/160 kms )
Savor a hearty breakfast in the morning and then you will check out your hotel and head to Haridwar. On the way, you will visit Dev Prayag, Dhari Devi Temple, and Rishikesh. Once you have arrived in Haridwar you will check in at your hotel and have an overnight stay. In the evening you will head to Hari Ka Puri to attend the Ganga Aarti.
Day 12: Haridwar – Dehradun/Delhi
Savor a delicious breakfast in the morning and then check out from your Haridwar hotel. You’ll head back to Dehradun or Delhi. On arrival, you will be dropped off by our representative at the guest place so that you can continue your journey ahead.
