Panch Badri are five abode of Lord Vishnu situated at different location of Garhwal Himalaya, where lord Vishnu worshiped under five different form and names. It is believed that Lord Vishnu mediated at all these places in this Alaknanada river valley.These Panch Badri are Vishal Badri, Adi Badri, Bhavishya Badri, Vridha Badri, Yogdhyan Badri. It is believed, the Parikrama (visit) of these five holy temple give peace and salvation to your soul and mind.
Lord Badrinath is the main temple in Badri Vishal, Badrinath Temple. In addition to the main Badrinath temple, there are four other small shrines where Lord Badrinath is worshiped under five different names. These are collectively called Panch Badri or Five Badris.

Tour Itinerary

You are welcome to Yatra of Five Badri (five abode of lord Vishnu). Today morning drive to Haridwar. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Later go for city tour, evening perform Arti and worship at Har Ki Pauri. Overnight stay at hotel in Haridwar.

Today morning start your journey to Joshimath en route see Devprayag (the confluence of river Alaknanda & Bhagirathi) and Rudraprayag (confluence of river Alaknanda & Mandakini). On arrival check-into hotel. Evening visit famous Narsingh temple the winter abode of Lord Badrinath. Dinner and overnight stay hotel.

This morning after breakfast, proceed to Badrinath. On arrival take holy Darshan and perform worship later visit Mana Village. Afternoon proceed to Yogdhyan Badri via Pandukeshwar take holy Darshan, and evening return back to Joshimath (just 24 kms). Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Joshimath.

Today morning drive to Syaldhar and follow 6 Kms trek for Bhavishya Badri, On arrival perform holy worship and take Darshan. Later return back to Joshimath. Evening visit Shankaracharya temple in Joshimath rest of time free to explore the local market of Joshimath. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Joshimath.

This morning drive to Vridha Badri the holy temple is situated at Animath just 8 km from Joshimath. On arrival perform your worship and take holy Darsan of lord Vishnu. Later Yatra start to Adi Badri the most ancient Badri in all five, Adi Badri is a group of 16 temples en-route to Ranikhet, just 17 km motorable approach from Karan Prayag. En route visit Nandprayag (confluence of river Alaknanda & Nandakini) & Karnaprayag (confluence of river Alaknanda & Pindar). After Holy Darsan return back to Srinagar (approx 84 kms / 3hrs). Dinner & Overnight at hotel in Srinagar.

This morning after breakfast leave for Haridwar en route visit Devprayag (The holy confluence of rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirathi, to becomes The Ganga). Reach Haridwar & overnight at hotel).

Today after Breakfast your journey start to Delhi here your tour ends with happy memories as you drop to Delhi Airport/or Railway station for your onward destination.

Panch Badri is a group of five holy temples in the Garhwal Himalayas where Lord Vishnu meditated and worshiped in different forms. These temples are Vishal Badri (Badrinath), Adi Badri, Bhavishya Badri, Vridha Badri, and Yogdhyan Badri. People believed that visiting them brings peace and salvation.

It usually takes 7-8 days to complete the Panch Badri Yatra, depending on travel speed, route, and weather.

Bhavishya Badri has the hardest trek among the Panch Badri temples. You need to walk uphill for 2 to 3 hours from Subain village on rocky paths, as there is no road.

The best way is to hire a taxi from Haridwar or Rishikesh for a comfortable trip. Take the road to Joshimath and visit Yog Dhyan Badri. Bhavishya Badri requires a trek. On return, visit Vridha Badri and Adi Badri. Avoid monsoon and winter travel.

The route map: Delhi- Rishikesh - Rudraprayag - Pipalkoti - Badrinath - Pandukeshwar - Yogdhyan Badri - Syaldhar - Bhavishya Badri - Vridha Badri - Gauchar - Adi Badri.

You can usually take photos outside temples, but not inside.

The temples are not close to each other, so the itinerary is planned to minimize travel time and cover them smoothly.

All Panch Badri temples are devoted to Lord Vishnu.
