Tour Itinerary

Your Gangotri Yatra will start as you head to Uttarkashi from Haridwar. During the scenic journey, you will appreciate nature's magnificence. Once you have arrived in Uttarkashi, you will immerse yourself in the tranquility of the town. You will be transferred to your pre-reserved hotel where you will relax and rejuvenate for some time. After a short nap, you’ll get ready to explore Uttarkashi's divine surroundings. You will first visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the most sacred sites built in honor of Lord Shiva. Inside, you can see 8-foot 9-inch Trishul and 56 cm high Shivlinga that stand as testaments to Shiva’s divine power. The temple is guarded by Nandi Baba and Shiva manifests here in the Swayambhu Shivling form, drawing devotees and pilgrims from worldwide to seek solace and blessings.

You will then visit the Shakti Temple to learn about the various miracles that are attributed to Mata Shakti. In the evening you’ll return to your hotel and have a lip-smacking dinner. Post dinner you’ll have a restful sleep in your room.

Today you will complete the check-out formalities at your hotel and then embark on a journey to Gangotri. En route, you will stop by Gangnani and have a holy dip in Tapt Kund’s sacred water. The natural hot spring’s soothing embrace will rejuvenate your spirit and body. After that, you will continue the journey and pass through the Harsil Valley which is dotted with Deodar trees and adorned with towering mountains.

After arriving at the Gangotri Temple which is situated amidst the Himalayan peaks you will offer your prayers to Goddess Ganga. Here, at the holy Ganges origin point, the Bhagirathi River flows, inviting devotees to take a dip in its purifying waters. Amar Singh Thapa constructed the temple and it exudes an aura of reverence. After the divine Darshan, you will head back to Uttarkashi carrying the divine’s blessings. As the day comes to an end, you’ll head back to your hotel and have an overnight stay.

After enjoying a hearty breakfast at your Uttarkashi hotel you’ll head to Haridwar covering a journey of approximately 210 kilometers. On the way, you will stop by the town of Rishikesh, situated in the Himalayan foothills. Rishikesh is known to be the Yoga capital of the world and captivates visitors with its thrilling activities and serene ambiance. Here, amidst the confluence point of the sacred Ganga and Chandrabhaga rivers, one can enjoy many adventurous activities like white water rafting, bungee jumping, and mountain biking. Rishikesh is dotted with many ancient temples like the Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, where mythology and legends come to life. You can also visit Triveni Ghat, where three holy rivers merge offering a sacred space for devotion and introspection.

After the exploration of Rishikesh, you will head to Haridwar. In the evening you will attend the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri which is a mesmerizing spectacle of devotion, light, and sound captivating everyone with its divine essence. After the Ganga Aarti, we will drop you at your preferred location in Haridwar, saying goodbye to the mystical lands of Uttarakhand.
