The road repair committee of Rishikesh Badrinath had been facing a lot of issues regarding the delayed repair of roads on Badrinath Rishikesh highway. Apart from local Uttarakhand authorities, the national government is also exerting a lot of effort in this direction. The Rishikesh Badrinath Rajmarga is the only route for Travel To Badrinath Dham. Every year during the char dham season the highway becomes a challenge for the BRO. The dangerous Lambargh landslide which happened in Chamoli district is a major issue for the BRO and border protection authorities. Every other day there is a rubble accumulation, stone block or landslide issue in the area and this harasses pilgrims. However, this year the Kanchenjunga glaciers and Hathi Pahar Slide Zones have increased the difficulty of the government even more.
