District Collector calls meeting with the concerned officials regarding necessary preparations for Char Dham Yatra.
Instructions to put on signboards containing the list of emergency numbers printed on hotels, dhabas, and also stations.
Dr. Ashish Kumar Srivastava had called a meeting with the concerned officials at the Collectorate Auditorium on Saturday to discuss the preparations for Char Dham Yatra. In this meeting, he instructed the officials to set the rate list in the Dhabas, restaurants, hotels, and other refreshments of The Char Dham Route and to put a signboard of emergency numbers on dhabas, stations, and hotels.
The district magistrate asked the tourism department to get the registration of PWDs and make it an easy and smooth process for senior citizens. He asked the transport department and also the traffic police to make such a provision in the software in the safety app. This allows the driver to drive the vehicle to be caught on the check post within 24 hours.
The vehicle on the route on which the same bus runs should not be put on Char Dham Yatra. PWD officials were strictly instructed to repair the roads, installing warning boards, installing parfaits, etc. Also asked to provide the details of the work done in connection with the security of Char Dham Yatra by 28th February.
Apart from this, he also advised to the Municipal Corporation, Rishikesh and the Health Department to stay alert. SDM of Rishikesh and Doiwala, Ramji Sharan Sharma, the ADM administration, District Tourism Officer Jaspal Chauhan, etc. were some of the officials present in this meeting.
