World famous heritage site Valley of flowers opened for tourists: witness more than 300 different species of flowers.

World famous valley of flowers was opened for tourists on Friday. 43 tourists witnessed the magnificence of the valley on the first day of opening. The current weather condition in the valley is consistently pleasant. Tourists will be able to enjoy the beauty of this valley till the upcoming month of October.

Nanda Devi National Park’s forest officer Brijlal Bharti has mentioned that the tourists who will be arriving at Valley of flowers are being registered at Ghangaria. No tourist will be allowed inside the valley post 2pm in the afternoon. To reach the valley of flowers people reach Ghangaria on their trek to Hemkund Sahib. From Ghangaria people trek up to 4 kilometres to reach the valley and witness its splendor.

Tourists from all over the world have been actively booking their packages to the valley online. Till now 80 national and 22 international tourists have booked their packages to Valley of flowers online. Valley of flowers is the only place on earth where there are more than 300 species of flowers. The valley is well known all over the world for its biodiversity. Along with beautiful flowers varieties tourists here can also witness rare species of forest animals, birds as well as herbs.
