Teams to be Deployed by PM to Sort the Rain Disruptions Caused at Char Dham Yatra Locations

A three member team from the Prime Minister’s office will be sent to a number of Char Dham areas during the next week of August with an aim to find some answers to a number of questions like: why the present day pilgrims are suffering more difficulty as compared to before and why the Yatra discontinues during the torrential rains. They will also research as to why this famous Char Dham Yatra has remained adversely affected by the rains for the past one and a half months.

PM to sent team to solve Chardham Yatra disruptions due to rainA year before the Char Dham Yatra of Uttarakhand was set to commence, Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself undertook the duty of keeping a keen eye on the Kedar Dham by reconstructing 5 important networks there. However, the said 5 important works have not been completed till date. The Prime Minister is said to have reviewed the condition of the Kedar Dham with the help of drones 4 times in the past 7 months before the Char Dham Yatra journey kick started.

Central Government Team from the PMO to Depart for Char Dham Site Visit

Uttarakhand Chief Minister was also summoned to Delhi and was given instructions as to no pilgrims or Yatris should face any problem or discomfort on their Char Dham and Kailash Mansarovar Yatra for this year. However, even after such strict instructions were laid out by the Prime Minister the Yatris are still being interrupted on an annual basis. But presently these problems have been addressed by Narendra Modi himself.

In order to better the state of affairs and look into the whole matter, a 3 member team will be sent from the Prime Minister’s office to some of the vital Char Dham Yatra points to find an appropriate solution to the issues which cause a hindrance during the Char Dham Yatra journey. This team will pay a visit to the holy pilgrimage sites of Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri and spend four days each there with an aim of solving the problems. The team will collect relevant pieces of information on these sites which can be used in making the Char Dham Yatra more accessible in the future for both domestic as well as international pilgrims.

Char Dham Yatra Gets Interrupted Due to Torrential Rainfall

Uttarakhand’s chief home secretary Ananda Vardhan has mentioned that the Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand has been disrupted by heavy rains ever since the past one and a half months. Pilgrims face a lot of difficulties during the monsoon and rainy seasons and in order to get rid of this problem the government has been constantly making efforts to resolve and tackle it with the diligent assistance of experts.
