On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed the live construction work taking place for the ambitious project of all weather road. The live video conference was attended by Dehradun secretariat’s chief secretary Utpal Kumar Singh along with the team of oil and weather road’s authorities. PM Modi also inquired about the reconstruction works going on in Kedarnath, while he was on the video conference.

With the help of the drone he was able to inspect the work in progress in the areas of Helang, Bhadrakali and Srinagar. At the same time he also reviewed the digitalization of everything from public warehouses to ration shop. This shows that the PM took fresh updates in these three projects from the CS. Along with these three projects, PM also took refreshed information on the Kedarnath Yatra.

Chief secretary also updated the PM on the Amrit Atal mission for rejuvenation and urban transformation. They said that a 27 DPR worth rupees 65 crore is being created. Two DPRs of worth rupees 2.16 crore has already been created while the confirmation for 29 DPRs of worth 217.69 crore will soon be received. The energy audit survey report of four cities has been completed while the survey of three other cities is still being carried out. For this purpose IISL has been connected.

93% of Ration Cards are Now Connected to Aadhaar Card

The state government has been continuously been monitoring the project in mission mode. The chief secretary mentioned that as per the TPDS or target public delivery system 93% of the ration cards have now been connected to Aadhaar cards. The seeding will be completed by June. Using the system integrated model the common service centre has automated the ration shops to the common service centres. 5,500 laptops, biometric equipment, printers and dongles have already been purchased. With the help of online supply chain, 196 warehouses have been completely computerized.

Out of 37 Confirmed Char Dham Main Roads Construction Project, 26 Projects Have Started.

The chief secretary of the char Dham main road project confirmed the fact that the work on 26 projects out of 37 have commenced. He also confirmed that by the end of June 8 other projects will also be kick started. Out of 773.4 hectares of land 487.6 hectares have been handed over to the municipal department. From 285.8 hectares of private land, 129.28 hectares of land has been acquired. They have informed us that out of 802 crore compensation money, 534 crore rupees have been given to them by the ministry of road transport and highways.

The competent authority for land acquisition have distributed 416 crore rupees. Out of 841.46 km of forest land 683.22 km has been claimed. For the purpose of utility shifting 74.07 crore rupees has been received. Out of this, 71 crore rupees has been handed over to the power corporation and water organization. 170km of line and 1947 electric polls have been shifted. 12km of pipeline and 68 hand pump have been shifted.
