Dharali sits on the banks of the Bhagirathi River<\/a> in Uttarkashi<\/a> district, on the road to Gangotri Dham<\/a>. Apple orchards, deodar forest, a quiet market \u2014 that was the pitch for years. On August 5, 2025, a debris flow tore through the village and buried a large part of that market.
