Now the pilgrims can get bookings in Delhi for the Abhishek and other special pooja of Sri Badrinath and Kedarnath Dham. Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) is going to open the booking counter for the pilgrimage in Delhi. Simultaneously, the committee has also prepared a plan to make rest houses for Yatris in the metros of the country. In view of the number of pilgrims growing year after year in Badrinath Dham and Kedarnath, BKTC has also planned to make booking easier and more convenient in Delhi.
For this, the process of land selection in Delhi has also been started by the committee. The committee will also make their passenger rest houses in Lucknow, Delhi and Haridwar so that pilgrims reach pilgrimage from remote areas can get the convenience of staying in the metro cities for cheap prices.
BKTC President Mohan Prasad Thapaliyal said that pilgrims could not participate in various puja in Badrinath and Kedarnath due to excessive crowding and lack of information in Dhams.
To facilitate the pilgrims, the counter of worship will be established in Delhi. Booking for the worship of Badrinath and Kedarnath can be done at the counter in winter and summer. At the same time, pilgrims in Lucknow and Delhi will also be provided with the convenience of the tourist rest house for the stay. This work will be started from next year.
