What Is a Chardham Yatra?
You must be wondering what's so special about a Char Dham Yatra? Well, it's one of the most sacred pilgrimages in the entire nation. Visiting the four Dhams is considered to grant the devotees salvation from the cycle of life and death. In addition, it's believed that the pilgrim has their sins cleansed forever and they attain Moksha!
Here's what your Chardham tour comprises:
The very first Dham that you'll be covering will be Yamunotri. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna! She's believed to bless her devotees with long life and prevent untimely death.
The second Dham on the itinerary is Gangotri, whose presiding deity is Goddess Ganga. She blesses her devotees with a pure soul. Goddess Ganga is revered in the Hindu literature as the deity who washes away sins and cleanses Karma.
The third Dham in the list is the holy Kedarnath temple. This shrine is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is also one of his most sacred Jyotirlingas.
The last spot on your pilgrimage is the sacred shrine of Lord Vishnu – Badrinath. Coming here is believed to free the soul from the reincarnation cycle. Located by the Alaknanda River, the temple's ambiance is highly conducive for retrospection and meditation.
We offer NRI friendly Char Dham travel packages with accommodation that ensures full comfort and luxury for pilgrims from abroad.
