Kedarnath is one of the holiest pilgrimage destinations in India, where pilgrims from all around the world come for spiritual fulfillment. To reach the trek, you have to undertake an 18 km trek to Gaurikund. However, the trek can be a bit challenging for some people as the route comprises steep inclines and rough terrain. Those who do not want to undertake the arduous trek can opt for a pony or palki. Apart from the helicopter, Dandi, Kandi, and Palki are the most reliable sources to reach Kedarnath.

For individuals up to 50 kg, the cost for Gaurikund to Kedarnath and return Kandi services on the same day is around Rs 8800, while with the option for night stay, you will have to pay Rs 10,700. For individuals up to 50 kg, the cost of Kandi services from Gaurikund to Lincholi on the same day is around Rs 4700, and from Gaurikund to Bhimbali, you’ll have to pay Rs 3000. For individuals up to 50 kg, the cost from Gaurikund to Kedarnath, same day service is around Rs 5700, and from Kedarnath to Lincholi, you’ll have to pay Rs 2200. From Kedarnath to Bhimbali, same day Kandi services for those up to 50 kg will cost around Rs 3400, and from Kedarnath to Gaurikund, you’ll have to pay Rs.4700 for Kandi services. From Shri Kedarnath helipad to Shri Kedarnath Dham, those up to 50 kg will have to pay Rs 1200. The prices may vary depending on the season when you visit Kedarnath.
