Prime Minister visits Kedarnath on 3rd May

Kedarnath is all geared up to welcome the arrival of the PM Sri Narendra Modi on the 3^rd of May and this is the day the revered shrine throws its doors open. Besides the PM, thousands of other devotees will visit Kedarnath on 3^rd May. Pranab Mukherjee the president has announced of his intention to visit Badrinath on 6^th May.

The point to remember is that Pranab Mukherjee had visited Kedarnath in 2016 and his latest visit remains unconfirmed. However the news of Narendra Modi’s visit has been officially confirmed on Thursday. As soon as this news was confirmed, the State Govt. was prompted to swing into action and the Rudraprayag administrative authorities were asked to make fool proof arrangements for the VVIP guests.
